The Shawnee Public Library, 101 N. Philadelphia, will have the Visual Literacy: Picturing America program Saturday, March 27, at 2 p.m.

The program is a combination of the National Endowment for the Arts Picturing America project and an expert’s easy-to-understand explanation of visual communication and visual literacy.
The program will present elements of visual literacy in an informal way and will include interactive components so the audience is involved rather than lectured to, said Jason Dupree Southwestern Oklahoma State University professor and program presenter. |
