The Adults Summer Reading Program, “Life in the Pages,” features Oklahoma authors and how they enrich other’s lives or reflect their lives through writing. The program is presented with support from Friends of the Library in each community.
Thursday, June 5, at 6:30 p.m. at the Purcell Public Library, 919 N. Ninth, adults may attend Calling All Book Lovers. This evening is for anyone who is interested in book clubs; it is an evening of story exchange, tips for leading a discussion, and ideas for entertaining.
Thursday, June 12, at 6:30 p.m. it’s Ronnye Sharp and A Taste of Oklahoma, when author, Ronnye Sharp will take audiences on a journey through Oklahoma’s 100 years of statehood with her recently published “Oklahoma’s Historical Centennial Cookbook.”
