October News

Greetings from Noble!

We have a lot going on at the Noble Public Library this month, and a lot to talk about.  Foremost, we would like your help celebrating 50 years of the Pioneer Library System.  In honor of our 50 years, we will have a 1950's themed celebration, including a sock hop with music from The Country Drifters, and we'll be serving ice cream floats!  The Noble Chamber of Commerce will also be here to help host Business After Hours, and the PLS board meeting will take place that evening.  Our celebration will run from 5:30pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, October 28th.  Open to all ages, we'll see you at the hop!

Also, October is Teen Read Month.  There are a number of activities planned for the month including gaming, movies, and zombie makeovers!  Teens are invited to come and check out our Books With Bite display and find a great read to sink their teeth into.  Got Fines?  Check our calendar to find out how children and teens can read away fines.

As a special treat, Erin Yeaman, professional cellist and storyteller, will be here for our Oct. 7th storytime presenting Tunes and Tales.  Be sure to check our calender for our other preschool and children's activities.

Need some grown-up time?  Our book discussion group is a great place to meet with other adults, discuss great books, and share in potluck refreshments.

Whatever your interests, there is something at the Noble Public Library for you.  See you soon!
