Mark your calendars for a celebration!

Wooden blocks of the number 50Since 1958, the Pioneer Library System has been helping residents of  Cleveland, McClain and Pottawatomie counties connect to the joy of reading and information for lifelong learning.

This year marks our 50th anniversary in providing library services to the tri-county area and we want to invite you to celebrate with us.  

Be sure to mark your calendars - and join us for our golden anniversary celebration at your local hometown library.

The dates scheduled, so far, are:

Norman Public Library - August 9, 2008
from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

McLoud Public Library - September 11, 2008
from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Newcastle Public Library - September 19, 2008
from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Purcell Public Library - September 28, 2008
from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Blanchard Public Library - October 7, 2008
starting at 4:00 pm

Tecumseh Public Library - October 21, 2008
starting at 2:00 pm

Moore Public Library - September 25, 2008
starting at 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Noble Public Library - October 28, 2008 from
5:30 pm to 7:00 pm

Shawnee Public Library - November 15, 2008
from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
