computer labThose of you who access library research databases regularly may be receiving errors stating that visiting one of our databases may be unsafe.

Please know that is not the case - we are pilot testing an easier way for you to login to our databases and this is a temporary glitch.

To stop receiving the errors please try the following steps for your specific internet browser:

While using Firefox:
Visit http://certs.ipsca.com/Support/hierarchy-ipsca.asp
Click on “ipsCA Global CA Root”
Select “Trust this CA to identify web sites” and click OK.
Repeat the steps above for “ipsCA Level 1 CA”.

While using Safari:
Visit http://certs.ipsca.com/Support/hierarchy-ipsca.asp
Click on “ipsCA Global CA Root”
Select Open to open the file upon download.
Select Open to confirm opening the file.
Select Install Certificate in the Certificate window.
Select Next, Next, Finish, OK, and OK to complete the installation of the certificate.
Repeat the steps above for “ipsCA Level 1 CA”.

While using Internet Explorer:
Visit http://certs.ipsca.com/Support/hierarchy-ipsca.asp
Click on “ipsCA Global CA Root”
Select Open in pop-up window.
Select Install Certificate in the Certificate window.
Select Next, Next, Finish, OK, and OK in the following windows.
Repeat the steps above for “ipsCA Level 1 CA”.
