People often ask us, "How do I apply for a job with the Pioneer Library System?" It is an easy four step process:
1) All job vacancies are posted at www.justsoyouknow.us/jobs ;
2) Decide if you are interested in Hourly, 20, 30 or 40 Hours per week position;
3) Print the application, or you can go to one of the hometown libraries and pick up a print application;
4) Turn in the completed application to the location listed on the job posting.

Black History Month
 February is celebrated as Black History Month. It is reported that Black History Month was first celebrated in the U.S. in 1926 through the efforts of African American historian Carter G. Woodson.
African American literature has gone through many periods. At the Library of Congress web site you can listen to Slave Narratives or view original documents that are part of the African American Odyssey. At your hometown libraries you can experience legendary African American thinkers and writers, such as, Frederick Douglass, Ralph Ellison, Zora Neale Hurston, Langston Hughes, Richard Wright, Alice Walker, Alex Haley and so many more.

Tax Info @ Your Library
Tax Season is here and your hometown libraries are here to help you find the resources you need to file your taxes.
Each of the hometown libraries is equipped to help you locate your tax forms online or, as supplies last, provide free print copies of federal tax forms.
Please note: To print forms and instruction booklets from the internet or to photocopy costs 15¢ per page for black and white and 30¢ per page for color. Also hometown libraries are not able to install personal tax software onto library computers.
