Fall is the season of new TV shows. Did you know that several teen books have been made into TV series? Although some of these shows are no longer showing on TV, the library has the books, so check them out!

Sept. 15 @ 4 p.m. - Teen Book Club Kickoff: Talk about your favorite summer reads. Enjoy snacks, make a craft, and get October books.

Sept. 14 @ 4 p.m. - Tween Book Club: Come join the group. Enjoy snacks, crafts and lively discussions!

Sept. 19 @ 3:30 p.m. - Bracelet Craft: Make your own one of a kind bracelet using craft sticks and paint. Supplies provided. Register online or call 387-5076.

Sept. 4 @ 5 p.m. - People vs. Boardom: Journey together through a fantasy realm to discover treasure, fight monsters, and triumph over adversity in the dark night. A variety of d20 tables will be open, including OD&d, 3.5, and 4th ed. New and experienced players welcome. Food provided.

Sept. 10, 17, 24 @ 7 p.m. - Books to Box-Office: Discuss Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl and watch the movie version over three Monday nights. Books are available at the Norman Children’s Desk. Ages 8-12. Register online or call 701-2630.

Sept. 17 @ 6 p.m. - Hunger Games Movie Night: Watch the movie version of The Hunger Games at your library! Enjoy the movie, snacks, and other events. Register online or call 979-2200.

Sept. 5 @ 6 p.m. - Basic Beaded Jewelry: Learn to make basic beaded necklaces and bracelets, using colored beads and elastic cord. Register online or call 598-5955.

Sept. 13 @ ? p.m. - UFO Group: Bring your UFO (UnFinished Objects) and spend time working on them with fellow crafters. Any medium is welcome from sewing to needle arts to painting. There will be "show and tell" to share what you are working on. Snacks will be provided.
