Who is eligible for a library card?

This includes the following communities:

(People who live in towns marked with * need to work, attend school, or own property in the above mentioned three county area. For a map of our service area visit our Google map.)

Anyone in those communities can choose to have one of two types of cards. A Tradional Library Card, which provides access to online materials as well as books and videos inside our hometown libraries, or a Virtual Library Card, which provides access to online materials only.

Just So You Know: If you already have a library card you do not need a Virtual Library Card to access online resources. Your current PLS library card already grants you access to our online resources! If you currently have a library card and do not know your PIN please use the PIN Request form to reset your PIN.
