Teens Study with Touring Artist @ the Library

Photo of artist watercolor suppliesTeens participating in the summer reading challenge at their hometown Blanchard library can learn how to modify traditional watercolor painting techniques to create a mixed-media masterpiece when they join a hands-on workshop with artist Lynn Melton. Melton is an Oklahoma Arts Council touring artist who holds a Bachelor of Fine Art degree from Montana State University. She has expertise in printmaking, painting, mosaics, murals as well as restoring or coloring photographs.

The hands-on workshop will be two hours long beginning at 2 p.m. on June 19, with all supplies provided. Registration is required to attend.
