The Moore Public Library welcomes illustrator Robin Preiss Glasser, of the “Fancy Nancy” series, for a visit to the library at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9.
She’ll be talking about the latest book in the series, “Fancy Nancy and the Wedding of the Century” and all of the books in the popular series.
Glasser has worked with author Jane O’Connor on the series, which began with the 2005 book “Fancy Nancy” that spent almost two years on the New York Times Best Seller list.
Since then, they have collaborated on dozens more titles in the series.
The afternoon will feature a photo booth, “Fancy Nancy” crafts and tasty treats courtesy of Flying Cupcake.
Children are invited to dress in costume and bring their favorite “Fancy Nancy” books for Glasser to sign at the event.
Space is limited so register online, at the library, or by calling 793-4347.
