The Moore Public Library welcomes Oklahoma Museum Network representatives for the program, “The Science of Sherlock Holmes,” at 7 p.m. Monday, June 23, at the library, 225 S. Howard Ave.
The program is for adults who will learn about the science behind the crime-solving methods of the legendary Sherlock Holmes. They won’t literally go to 221B Baker Street, but they will enjoy an evening of detective work.
It will be an evening of CSI, Victorian style, for ages 18 and up.
Space is limited so register online, at the library, or by calling 793-4347 in advance to take part in the program.
Major sponsors for this year’s Summer Reading Program are the Oklahoma Department of Libraries, the Institute of Museum and Library Services, Oklahoma Arts Council, Hitachi, Kirkpatrick Family Fund, The Anne and Henry Zarrow Foundation, Sonic, Oklahoma 529 College Savings Plan, The Oklahoman, the Pioneer Library System and the Pioneer Library System Foundation.
