The Moore Public Library offers a new take on the book talk at its new Tween Scene program, set for 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays in August and September, in the Story Time Room of the library, 225 S. Howard Ave.
Participants won’t have any reading assignment on a specific book but simply can learn about new books on different themes.
There also will be games, crafts and activities that will tie in with a variety of books available for checkout.
Registration is required in advance to take part. The program is for ages 9 to 13.
