Moore Reads book group to meet
The Moore Reads book discussion group will talk about “The Scent of Rain and Lightning” by Nancy Pickard in its next monthly meeting, set for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, in the Conference Room of the library, 225 S. Howard Ave.
The Moore Reads group meets monthly to look at a different book. Copies of the book are available for checkout at the library’s Information Desk.
The September book for the group is “So Brave, Young and Handsome” by Leif Enger, and in October they will read “Distant Hours” by Kate Morton.
