In honor and celebration of the national observance of Black History Month in February, the Moore Public Library will host its sixth annual Gospel Celebration at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at the library, 225 S. Howard Ave.
The event is free but reservations are required, as space is limited. Guests are encouraged to dress in their Sunday best.
The brunch will feature gospel singing and music by the Singers Unto the Lord, whose pieces will honor contributions to American culture through traditional black gospel music. The event also will have food provided by local eatery Tealicious.
