Owls and outer space? Newcastle invites children to pair of programs

Flying carThe Newcastle Public Library, 705 NW 10th St., invites children ages 6 to 11 for a pair of upcoming programs just for them.

They’ll start the week looking at owls with a make and take craft program at 2 p.m. Monday, July 16. The library will provide all the supplies for children to make an owl craft to take home and decorate their rooms.

Then at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, children are invited back to the library for an “Out of This World” Space Fantasy. The afternoon features stories and activities that will teach more about outer space.
