Newcastle tweens to discuss “Island of Thieves”

The Newcastle Public Library’s Tweens Book Club, for ages 9-12, has its next monthly meeting at 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at the library, 705 NW 10th St.
This month’s book will be Island of Thieves by Josh Lacey.
In addition to discussion of the book, this month’s gathering will feature a special guest. The group also will take part in a related craft project and have refreshments provided by the Friends of the Newcastle Library.
Registration is not required to be part of the group.
