Newcastle Public Library
The Newcastle Public Library’s “Grow a Learner with Art” summer series continues at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, at the library, 705 NW 10th St.
The workshop is taught by local teaching artist Kiona Millirons. Part two of the series is “Sculpture and Painting for Tiny Hands.” Children ages 5 and under and their caregivers will take part in creative expression activities with play dough and paint applications followed by a story time related to art and color.
Parents and caregivers also will learn recipes for make-at-home paints and play dough.
All supplies are included but are limited in amount, so registration in advance is required.
