Newcastle Public Library
The Newcastle Public Library invites cow herd owners to start planning now for the cold season at the program Winter Feeding Alternatives for Cows, set for 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, at the library, 705 NW 10th St.
Wes Lee of the McClain County OSU Extension Service will be the program presenter.
The program will look at tips for keeping winter feeding costs as manageable as possible. Lee will present a discussion of nutritional requirements and explore some of the traditional and alternative feeds available to meet these needs.
Registration is required to attend.
