With many people getting into the world of eReaders and eBooks from the holiday gift-giving season, it’s a perfect time to learn more about those new technological gadgets.
The Newcastle Public Library welcomes experts from the Pioneer Library System’s Virtual Library branch to talk about and show off the library’s offerings for users of eReaders at the program “Downloading to Your Mobile Device” at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at the library, 705 NW 10th St.
Virtual Library staff will demonstrate how to use the Overdrive catalog used for the library’s downloadable resources. Participants who have an eReader are encouraged to bring it so they can get hands-on experience learning the system.
Registration is required to attend.
To register, or for more information, visit the library or call 387-5076.
