Join the discussion in Newcastle in November

BookThe Newcastle Public Library has a discussion for all ages through its four book discussion groups, each of which will meet in November.

Topics for this month’s talks are:

Forever Young Book Club, 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9 – Monstrous Beauty by Elizabeth Fama. The group is for adults who enjoy reading young adult genre books.

Brown Bag Book Discussion Group, 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14 – Ages 18 and up are invited to read and discuss American Heiress by Daisy Goodwin. Attendees are invited to bring a sack lunch and enjoy snacks provided by the Friends of the Newcastle Library.

Teen Book Club, 4 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 14 – Teens will take part in discussion and a related craft on the book Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein. The group meets monthly throughout the school year for ages 13-18.

Tween Book Club, 4 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 14 – Ages 9 to 12 have the chance for their own monthly discussion and related craft project as well. Their topic for this month is “Quilts and the Underground Railroad.” The group also will be provided snacks courtesy the Friends of the Newcastle Library.
