Tuesday brings preschool learning and fun to the library

Girl in wagonThe Noble Public Library features a morning full of activities for preschoolers on Tuesdays in October.

Most weeks at 10:30 a.m., programs for ages 2 to 5 and their caregivers are featured at the library, 204 N. 5th St. Registration is not required to attend any of the events.

The schedule for September includes:

Oct. 1 – Preschool Story Time – Children will sing songs, do fingerplays and read books and will focus on letter recognition as one of the early literacy skills during storytime.

Oct. 8 – Make and Take - Children will make crafts, play at sensory motor stations and socialize with other children.

Oct. 15 – Success by 6 Story Time – Christy Emig of Success by 6 of Norman will lead a special story time including songs, fingerplays, books and information about parents about the Success by 6 organization.

Oct. 22 – Magic of Music – Gloria Jean Fenn will lead children in songs and more as they learn through the “Magic of Music.”
