It’s time for Norman West’s Inaugural United Way Pumpkin Decorating Contest!
You can use any size or type of pumpkin, but to keep from attracting creepy critters, please DO NOT submit a carved or hollowed-out (real) pumpkin. Painting, costuming, embellishing, glittering, decoupaging, and anything else you can think of to spice up a pumpkin is encouraged!
The entry fee is a donation of any size ($5 is suggested) to United Way.
A 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be recognized in each category
- Children 12 and under
- PLS Staff
Entries will be accepted October 18-28. Winners will be recognized at the Norman West Birthday Party and United Way Fundraiser on November 1.
Even if you don't enter a pumpkin, visit the library to vote for your favorite pumpkins for a penny per vote. That means if you really like a pumpkin, you can donate $10 and vote for it 1,000 times!
