Norman brings in creepy-crawlies at its annual “Bug Fest”

Tarantula“Bug Fest” makes its annual return from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, March 20, in the Lowry Room of the Norman Public Library, 225 N. Webster Ave.

The library’s annual Spring Break family program provides an entertaining and educational opportunity for families during Spring Break.

 “Bug Fest” is put on jointly by the Cleveland County Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service and the library and is presented free of charge for all ages.

 

Tracey Payton Miller and OCE staff will set up a number of educational booths, including a live insect petting zoo, insect crafts and displays, live worms and more.
