Super sleuths wanted to solve a mystery in Norman

The Norman Public Library welcomes Oklahoma Museum Network representatives for the program, “It’s Elementary Doctor Watson,” at 6 p.m. Friday, June 27, at the library, 225 N. Webster Ave.

The program is for teens who will learn about the science behind the crime-solving methods of the legendary Sherlock Holmes. They won’t literally go to 221B Baker Street, but they will enjoy an evening of detective work. It will be an evening of CSI, Victorian style.

Register online, at the library, or by calling 701-2600. There will be a limited number of first-come, first-served spaces available at the door.

Major sponsors for this year’s Summer Reading Program are the Oklahoma Department of Libraries, the Institute of Museum and Library Services, Oklahoma Arts Council, Hitachi, Kirkpatrick Family Fund, The Anne and Henry Zarrow Foundation, Sonic, Oklahoma 529 College Savings Plan, The Oklahoman, the Pioneer Library System and the Pioneer Library System Foundation.
