Norman hosts Garden Workshop

Get a lesson on seasonal cover crops at a Garden Workshop at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, in the Lowry Room of the Norman Public Library, 225 N. Webster Ave.

The program will be presented by Dr. Norm Park, who will talk about the benefits to the soil that come from cover crops.

Attendees may bring their own seed and plants to swap with other gardeners and also participate in a seed exchange of more than 100 available seed packages.

Also, a display on monarch butterflies produced by Annie Hart will be available for viewing at the program.

Registration is not required to attend.
