Norman Public Library
The Norman Public Library will host a Hunter Safety Education class at 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, in the Lowry Room of the library, 225 N. Webster Ave.
Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation Warden Chad Strang will present the workshop.
This is a standard eight-hour course that covers a variety of topics including firearms safety, wildlife identification, wildlife conservation and management, survival, archery, muzzleloading and hunter responsibility.
The minimum recommended age is 10, and parent or guardian will be required to accompany any children who take part in the class.
Registration is required in advance for anyone interested in attending.
