The Norman Public Library invites the community to celebrate the holiday season with an evening of family activities at its annual Holiday Open House, set for 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at the library, 225 N. Webster Ave.
The evening will feature holiday themed books and movies, a chance to decorate a gingerbread house and more activities for all ages.
Also as part of the Open House, the Pioneer Library System’s Virtual Library branch also will host a Holiday eReader Workshop, which begins at 6 p.m. in the library’s Lowry Room.
Participants will learn how to use the OverDrive media console used for the library’s downloadable resources. Participants who have an eReader are encouraged to bring it so they can get hands-on experience learning the system.
Registration is highly recommended for the eReader Workshop. Registration will not be required for the remainder of the activities at the Holiday Open House.
For more information, visit the library or call 701-2600.
