Norman Central to host free computer classes throughout October

Norman Public Library Central has announced its schedule for free computer classes in October.

Computer instruction is intended for beginners. Each class consists of verbal and visual instruction and includes guided practice through various activities.

Classes take place in the Computer Training Center of the library, 225 N. Webster Ave. To sign up, visit the library or go online to the Computer Class Schedule.

Norman West brings learning and fun at its weekly story times

Norman Public Library West invites young children and their families and caregivers to a morning of activities just for them at the library’s Story Time, scheduled at 10 a.m. each Tuesday in October at the library, 300 Norman Center Court.

Story time takes place weekly on Tuesday mornings when the library is open and features themed books, music, stories and games geared to children from birth to pre-K age. This month features stories and activities about apples.
