Purcell - Summer Reading - Children
The Purcell Public Library invites tweens ages 8-12 to create their own vision of the night sky, at its Night Sky Dioramas craft program, at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 5, at the library, 919 N. Ninth St.
The shoe box design is one of the library’s most popular Summer Reading Program craft programs each year. The library will provide a variety of supplies and items to help tweens recreate a sparkly night sky in their diorama.
While the tweens are making their dioramas, younger children will continue their “Trash to Treasure” series at the same time by making take-home “Wild Things” masks.
The programs are sponsored by the City of Purcell and Purcell Friends of the Library.
