Find fun and activity at the library on Thursday afternoons

readingThursday afternoons bring chances for a variety of activities for children of all ages at the Purcell Public Library this summer during its Summer Reading Program.

At 2 p.m. most Thursdays, the library splits up children into groups of tweens ages 8-12 and under 8 for craft programs and other activities.

Upcoming themes and dates include:

June 20 – 8-under, Cookie Cutter Bird Feeders; Tweens Dig Into Dioramas;

June 27 – 8-under, Leaf Collage; Tweens Dig It, Vegetables;

July 4 – No programs, library closed for the holiday;

July 11 – 8-under, Grass Heads; Tweens Dig Into Our Earth;

July 18 – 8-under, Stepping Stones; Tweens Dig Star Trek.
