Purcell Public Library
Purcell-area tweens can get an introduction to the world of robotics at a Summer Reading Program event of the Purcell Public Library, at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 19.
They’ll be exploring science and technology and have a chance to design and create their own personal robot, using supplies provided by the library.
And at the same time, the library has younger children in mind, as ages 8 and under will take part in an animal-related craft project that they can make at the library and then take home as a decoration or a gift.
The library is the place to be on Thursday afternoons throughout the summer, with age-appropriate activities in two groups taking over the library most weeks in June and July.
