Children can make their own robot in Purcell

robot holding books Purcell-area tweens can get an introduction to the world of robotics at a Summer Reading Program event of the Purcell Public Library, at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 19.

They’ll be exploring science and technology and have a chance to design and create their own personal robot, using supplies provided by the library.

And at the same time, the library has younger children in mind, as ages 8 and under will take part in an animal-related craft project that they can make at the library and then take home as a decoration or a gift.

The library is the place to be on Thursday afternoons throughout the summer, with age-appropriate activities in two groups taking over the library most weeks in June and July.

For more information on any of the library's programs and services this summer or call 527-5546.
