Purcell Public Library
Thursday afternoons mean age-appropriate learning and activity for children at the Purcell Public Library, with Summer Reading Program events taking place at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 3, and on Thursdays throughout the summer until July 17.
In this set of programs, tweens ages 8-12 will make a tornado in a bottle and a snow storm in a jar as they learn some facts about the science of weather.
And children younger than 8 and their caregivers will create science-related crafts in their own age-appropriate activities in another part of the library.
For more information on the programs, visit the library or call 527-5546.
