Purcell Public Library
Get a lesson in Mad Science with a pair of Purcell Public Library programs, part of their series for this year’s Summer Reading Program.
The children’s program is set for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, with a teen workshop following at 2 p.m., each taking place at the library, 919 N. Ninth St.
Mad Scientist Derick Brock and his crew from Mad Science of Central Oklahoma will show off a variety of experiments, chemical concotions, tests of gravity and much more in the morning program for children.
In the afternoon, teens will spark a reaction as they learn about the fundamentals of current electricity.
Registration is required for the teen workshop but not for the earlier children’s program.
