Purcell hosts free computer classes

The Purcell Public Library will offer a series of free computer classes during December.
A three-part series of basic classes gives an introduction of skills for new computer users.
The series includes:
Computer Basics, 10 a.m., Monday Dec. 3 – The class gives an introduction to the computer, including how to use a mouse.
Internet Basics, 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 10 – The class is an introduction to navigating the Internet.
E-Mail Basics, 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 17 – Attendees will learn about e-mail and have the chance to set up a free e-mail account using one of several free e-mail services.
For more advanced computer users, the library will offer a PowerPoint Basics class at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5.
The class will give a look at some of the basics of PowerPoint, a software program that allows users to design visual graphics to go along with presentations.
Registration is required separately for each class.
