Author Sharon Sala to Speak at Purcell Library

“Everyone is invited to hear New York Times bestselling author Sharon Sala and have lunch on the Friends of the Purcell Library,” said Gene Harryman, president of the library support group. Sala will be guest speaker for the friends’ luncheon Thursday, Feb. 12 from noon to 1 p.m. She will have books available for purchase and to autograph.

The special event is the Friends of the Purcell Library’s annual meeting and an opportunity to join the organization. The friends support the library in a number of ways including providing volunteers for special events and raising funds for special projects and programs.

Sharon Sala is a long-time member of Romance Writers of America (RWA), as well as a member of OKRWA. She has 78 plus books in print, written as Sharon Sala and Dinah McCall. First published in 1991, she’s a five-time RITA finalist, winner of the Janet Daily Award, four-time Career Achievement winner from RT magazine, National Reader’s Choice Award, and Colorado Romance Writer’s Award of Excellence winners five times each. Her books are New York Times, USA today, Publisher’s Weekly, Waldenbooks mass market best-sellers. Writing changed her life, her world, and her fate.
