Shawnee teens and tweens spent one day of their fall break designing and painting faces onto pumpkins. Supplies were furnished with kids bringing their own pumpkins.
When the paint dried, the result were funny, spooky, and even school spirit-themed pumpkins ready for haunting spooky places around town.Teen volunteers for the program were member of the Shawnee YMCA's Tri-Hi-Y service organization.
