Free Seminar of Simple Solutions for Better Behaved Dogs

dog imageProfessional trainer, Lynn Pollei, will present a family friendly seminar about simple solutions to problem behavior, care and training of the family dog Saturday, January 26, at 10 a.m. at the Shawnee Public Library.

Pollei is the owner of “Take the Lead Dog Training and Behavior Services,” in Shawnee. She has been counseling pet owners (both dog and cat) on ways to solve problem behavior since 1987 when she began her career in Education at the Wisconsin Humane Society. Since then she has taught obedience and agility classes; presented behavior seminars; helped develop and implement a nationally known dog training program for at-risk children; worked with experts in developing a temperament assessment program used by humane organizations across the county; and developed and coordinated a dog therapy program for school psychologists and social workers.

There is no registration required for the seminar. Children under 11 must be in the company of an adult. For more information, call the library at 275-6353.
