Cupcake Decorating 101 set for tweens in Shawnee

You’re never too young to learn to help out with cupcake decorating.
The Shawnee Public Library invites tweens (ages 9 to 11) to a lesson on the art in Cupcake Decorating 101, set for 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, in Community Room A of the library, 101 N. Philadelphia Ave.
Participants will be able to make and take their finished products from the program. And when they’re done, they can check out the library’s best books on easy cooking ideas for their age.
All supplies will be provided by the library but are limited in amount, so registration is required in advance.
