A Tasty Affair

The library community rooms were humming Saturday, November 17 as 16 Shawnee Tweens gathered to create "Make It-Take It Apple Pies" to bake and serve for Thanksgiving.
Tweens made both the apple filling and streusel topping in zip lock bags and then assembled the ingredients for an apple pie that is ready to put in the oven for a tasty Thanksgiving treat.
Shawnee Jr. Service League provided the apples as well as helped with the program. Everyone left the library with a smile.
