Pumpkin Painting Programs Set in Shawnee

The Shawnee Public Library is getting into the spirit of the season with a pair of pumpkin painting programs at the library, 101 N. Philadelphia Ave.
At 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, teens and tweens ages 9 to 18 are invited to bring a pumpkin to paint and decorate with supplies provided by the library.
Then at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, a similar program just for ages 9 to 11 will be scheduled.
Both activities will take place in Community Room A of the library.
Participants will need to bring their own pumpkin, but otherwise all supplies will be provided.
