Fabulous Fiction Finds, OCT. 2014

I just recently returned from Virginia where I and two friends attended a seminar on Jefferson, Madison, and Monroe.  We learned much and saw some beautiful places.  Then the other night I saw GONE WITH THE WIND at the Cinema Center as part of the seveny-fifth anniversary of it's release.  And to top it off, I just started a historical fiction novel about a women who impersonates a man and joins the Union Army while her husband takes care of their farm.  With all of this coming together, it just seemed natural that the FFF corner this month contains historical fiction taking place during the American Civil War.  We have everything from spies to romance with a background of countrymen fighting countrymen.  Take the opportunity to read something from another time.
