Get a tour of video conferencing options with SOKC class

LabThe Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library presents a Video Conferencing class at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18, at the library, 2201 SE 134th St.

Several software programs for video conferencing will be demonstrated to class attendees. The options would be usable either for business or personal use visiting with friends and family.

SOKC hosts Dan Brown teleconference for new book release

SOKC - Adults

 

Inferno coverInternational bestselling author Dan Brown will come to several of the Pioneer Library System’s hometown libraries via a live-streaming teleconference, at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, at 6:30 p.m.

The live streaming of Brown’s discussion will be shown at the Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library, 2201 SW 134th St. The broadcast also will be streamed at the Norman and McLoud libraries.

SOKC gives children and families many options for story times, creative programs

SOKC - Children

 

ReadingThe Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library invites children and their caregivers to the library for a variety of programs tailored to a variety of ages.

The library offers several programs in May as it heads toward its busiest time of the year, the annual Summer Reading Program in June and July.
