Business Connections book group talking willpower at next meeting

The Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library means business at its Business Connections Book Discussion, a group that meets monthly to discuss a book title read by the entire group.

The next meeting of the group is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, in the Conference Room of the library, 2201 SW 134th St. The group will discuss the book “The Willpower Instinct” by Kelly McGonigal.

SOKC presents computer class series for seniors

The Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library continues its series of free computer classes with a three-part set of classes geared to seniors who may be learning about computers for the first time.

Classes take place at 10:30 a.m. on consecutive Tuesdays in the Computer Training Center of the library, 2201 SW 134th St. The classes give participants a chance to get hands-on experience of several skills at the computer.
