The Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library pairs reading and fitness with several weekly classes offered at the library, 2201 SW 134th St.
The library hosts a Pilates class at 6 p.m. Mondays, followed by an hour of Zumba at 7 p.m. And it’s also hosting a class on Beginning Yoga at 10 a.m. on Sept. 3. All classes are offered free of charge

The Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library is talking research at its computer class “Using Bamboo Dirt,” part of its series of free back-to-school series. The class takes place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, at the library, 2201 SW 134th St.
Bamboo Dirt is a registry of digital research tools geared toward educators and researchers. Its goal is to reduce the time needed to find information online and is a good resource for high school and college students, educators and professionals in a variety of fields.
