SOKC gives children and families many options for story times, creative programs

 

ReadingThe Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library invites children and their caregivers to the library for a variety of programs tailored to a variety of ages.

The library offers several programs in May as it heads toward its busiest time of the year, the annual Summer Reading Program in June and July.

 

Among the programs offered are:

ASK (After School Kids), at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, May 1 - Activities including songs, crafts and games are designed for children age 4 to 8, but all are welcome to attend.

Baby Story Time, at 10 and 10:30 a.m. on each Thursday in May – Stories and music are geared to children ages 3 and under.

Children’s Story Time, at 10 a.m. Mondays, May 6, 13 and 20 – Stories, music and games are geared to ages 3 and older.

Make and Take, at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 18 – A come and go craft program for children ages 3 to 6.

Registration is not required to attend any of the programs.
