Craft a Spooky String Doll at SOKC teen program
Last Updated on Wednesday, 24 October 2012 09:40
Get into the spirit of the year’s spookiest holiday season with a “Spooky String Dolls” craft program, offered for teens at the Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26.
Participants can make their dolls into vampires, monsters, zombies or any creation they can dream up.
What’s a string doll? It’s a several-inch-tall creation of yarn, string, glue and Styrofoam crafted together and then decorated to resemble something or someone. In the case of this program, they’ll likely wind up with a scary theme.
All supplies will be provided by the library, but registration is required in advance so enough will be available.
For more information, or to register, visit the library, call 979-2200 or go online here .
