Norman Public Library, 225 N. Webster, will offer parents an opportunity to discuss their toddlers with experts. During the libraries’ regular program, “Crafts for the Very Young,” Child Development Specialist, Mary Ann Boersma, and Speech and Language Pathologist, Sonia Ice, will be available between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. Friday, February 15.
“If you have a child younger than 6, you may have questions about what they eat and how they eat; how to best discipline them; how to help them sleep through the night, etc.,
this event allows parents to ask these kinds of questions about parenting,” said Basha Hartley children’s librarian. “We are calling it ‘Child Chat’,” she said.
Chatting with experts about toilet training, speech development a child’s growth patterns are also topics typically of concern to parents; and may be addressed with these experts from the Cleveland County Health Department Child Guidance Division.
