SOKC's Penn Ave. Literary Society set for monthly book discussion
The Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library’s Penn Ave. Literary Society will discuss the book “The Alchemist” by Donna Boyd at its next meeting, set for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, at the library, 2201 SW 134th St.
The group selects a different book each month for discussion. Books for the next month’s discussion can be picked up at the library’s Information Services Desk and returned at the next book discussion.
Typically the group meets the second Thursday of the month but moved this month’s meeting back a week. The next discussion will be Thursday, March 14, and features a preview of the book “Old School” by Tobias Wolff, the selection for the 2013 edition of The Big Read presented by the Pioneer Library System.
