Children, tweens can get finger knitting lesson in Tecumseh

Finger knitting

The Tecumseh Public Library will give children and tweens a lesson in finger knitting during a craft program at for 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb . 16, at the library, 114 N. Broadway.

The program is for ages 7 to 11. Participants will learn how to knit using only their hand and yarns. No knitting needles will be needed with this easy method.

Each child who comes will make their own scarf to take home with supplies provided by the library. Children under age 10 will need to be accompanied by an adult.

Class size is limited to 15 so registration is required, either at the library, by calling 598-5955 or online here .
