Craft an eco-friendly seed starter in Tecumseh
Tecumseh-area children are invited to a special Spring Break craft program at the Tecumseh Public Library. They’ll be making a shredded paper seed starter at the program, at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, at the library, 114 N. Broadway.
The creation uses scrap paper and either flower or vegetable seeds to work as an eco-friendly seed starter. The activity provides a good way for children to learn about gardening and how seeds grow.
The program is for ages 5 to 11, and any children age 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult, per library policy.
Registration is required and class size is limited to 20 participants.
For more information, visit the library or call 598-5955.
